WORD on the street has it that the slug fest between former badminton great Punch Gunalan and diligent administrator Ganga Rao is due to a clash of working ethics.

While Punch Gunalan is a good worker, it seems he has 'tenders' given out to close associates and when the official badminton website was criticised by Ganga as it often crashes and serves no purpose, Punch was dismayed.

Also, several other issues were highlighted by Ganga which Punch took offence and feels the former is trying to outdo him.

And the Mollywood drama begins...prompting Sports Minister Azalina Otham Said to step in.

The same may also happen in football.

Telekom Malaysia (TM) has contracted a party to run their website tmfootballchannel.com but the site has been suffering problems and is eveident as it cannot be viewed for the past week- reasons unknown.

Also, the contributors seem demoralised as some have not been paid since January!

Word on the street also once said that TM may want to pull out from sponsoring the Malaysian League...true or otherwise, only time will tell.
