Former journo next in line?

FA of Malaysia (FAM) general secretary Dr Ibrahim Saad is set to step down from his post when his contract expires in two months time.

There are already questions which include will he be asked to stay on or who will take over the hot seat.

Talk on the street is that several noted personalities are linked to the post, including former national sports council head Wira Mazlan.

However, the most interesting individual which has been linked to the post is former The Malay Mail journalist Satwant Singh Dhaliwal.

Well it could just be all talk only, but we all know the capabilities of Satwant Singh. He has worked in various sporting postings before, including a short media representative stint in FAM.

What ever the case may be, the next person in line should have the ability to revamp the current system or otherwise he or she (not discounting the possiblity of a lady given the post) will be making more foes than friends.
