Unbeaten queen aims another title

NICOL David (pic) is all geared up to dominate the scene for another year- at least.

The 23 year old Penangnite has been unbeaten since last year, placing her at the top of the WIPSA world rankings.

Nicol who is currently gearing up for the CIMB Malaysian Open tournament hopes to add another silverware as she creates history as the best female wall basher ever.

Nicol will meet Tricia Chuah in the first round of the meet which starts tomorrow. The tourney will be first held at Jalan Duta while the quarters onwards will be held at The Curve Shopping Centre in Damansara.

"Records can be broken, but it is about trying my best," said Nicol when met at Astaka, PJ earlier today.

"We've been out of action for three months, and we're all eager to jump back in the courts and play our best," she added.

The home crowd last saw Nicol in action during the KL Open in March when she beat finalists Aussie player Natalie Grinham 3-2 in 102 minutes at Times Sqaure.
